What is CCA?
CCA (Community Club Awards) is a successful organizational fund raising activity that bonds non-profit organizations to the Adams/Hanover business community. This program can generate thousands of dollars for these organizations.
Participation is open to ALL organizations interested in earning additional funds for their treasuries for civic, religious, fraternal, social, charitable, educational and other worthwhile community betterment purposes. The program is not open to individuals. Certification for CCA participation is made by WGET.
How does a club participate?
An organization is eligible to participate in CCA by filling out the official CCA registration card, supplied by WGET.
Cash awards are made to those participating organizations delivering eligible proofs-of-purchase to the WGET Studios on specified dates during the months of February through May. Proofs-of- purchase include sales slips, receipts, cartons, labels, etc. from firms whose names, products and services are listed in a Buyers Guide provided FREE to all participants and their friends, approximately two weeks in advance of the start date of the CCA campaign.
There is NOTHING to sell. No endorsement of any product, retail store or service is either asked for or required, nor will the name of any organization or individual be permitted to be used in publicity or advertising of any advertiser. CCA is NOT a lottery or a game of chance.
The campaign begins in January with the Training Meeting date announced by mail to each participating organization's duly appointed CCA Chairperson.
Cash Awards:
A club may qualify to earn weekly, grand final and advertiser awards. Each club is GUARANTEED a cash award, presented at the CCA Pay-Off Party at the end of the campaign.
Getting Started:
For more information on the CCA program and the benefit it holds for your non-profit organization, please contact CCA Director Rita Tuchalski by phone at 717-334-3101, or e-mail at cca@wget.com.
